A few months ago we invited our readers to share their favorite poetry from the Christian Science publications. A member of the High Ridge House Board of Trustees shared the following selection. Trust you too enjoy it and find it a comfort and an inspiration.
“O HOW LOVE I THY LAW!” *
By Peter J. Henniker-Heaton
Because I have loved God’s law,
God’s law will protect me.
Deep in my heart I desire it,
So it will direct me.
Even though I stray from the path,
It will not reject me.
Far through the rocks and the briers it will seek me
And home to the fold will collect me.
Because I have loved God’s law,
God’s law will protect me.
*Ps. 119:97
